Whirling into the modern age and flying into Twitter! Took a moment to check out the library's twitter posts and followed the tiny url links to some of the great stuff going on at the Muncie Public Library! I especially enjoyed learning about some of the new databases available to Muncie Public Library card holders.
One of my favorites is Naxos music library. So many fabulous classical, choral, ect music recordings are available to listen to that it's hard to choose just one. Other new databases are the genealogical research databases. This is especially exciting because my mom does a lot of genealogy research and I know she will be very excited to explore the new sites like Heitage Quest and World Vital Records.
Twitter is a great way to keep people informed of programming and resources because it takes just a moment or two to read a short bit of information. You can get alot said in 140 characters! MPL is keeping up with new technologies and making it even easier for our customers to keep in touch with all the library has to offer! :)
