Theme for today's story time? Leaves. Yup, it's fall and of course it's all about fall colors and the leaves changing. Children are depicted jumping into piles of leaves and kicking them in the air. One of the books we explored is "Red Leaf, Yellow Leaf" by Lois Ehlert. The children love the story and the vibrant colors used in the illustrations.
Another book that the crowd enjoyed is "Leaves" by Salina Yoon. It's a toddler book with shiny metalic leaves scattered throughout and the always popular lift-a-flap feature.
Bring your family to the library and take some time to read together.
